Titi Susilowati Prabawa adalah Dosen program Doktor Studi Pembangunan, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Dia meraih gelar PhD dalam bidang Budaya, Organisasi dan Manajemen dari Universitas Vrije, Amsterdam, Belanda. Dalam penelitiannya, dia menggunakan perspektif antropologi untuk mengeksplorasi kompleksitas dan dinamika dalam organisasi termasuk kewirausahaan pariwisata dan bisnis dalam kaitannya dengan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Salah satu minat penelitian intinya menyangkut studi tentang organisasi bisnis kecil dan kewirausahaan yang menangani masalah yang berkaitan dengan etnisitas, mata pencaharian, krisis, dan strategi penanggulangan. Titi adalah Kepala Pusat Studi Pembangunan Berkelanjutan dan pernah memegang posisi fellowship di Australia, dan supervisor di Prancis dan PhD di berbagai institusi, seperti di Bisnis Internasional dan Studi Asia, Universitas Griffith, Australia; Sekolah Bisnis, Oxford Brookes, Inggris; dan MNHN (Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle) Paris, Prancis. Dia memiliki pengalaman sebagai mitra bestari (reviewer) untuk Current Issues in Tourism dan Austrian Journal of Southeast Asian Studies dan telah menjadi salah satu anggota dewan peninjau editorial untuk Annals of Tourism Research sejak Agustus 2022.

Titi Susilowati Prabawa is a Lecturer in Tourism Studies at the Development Studies Department, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. She holds a PhD in Culture, Organisation and Management from Vrije University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In her research, she uses the anthropological perspective to explore complexities and dynamics in organisations including tourism, entrepreneurship and businesses in relation to sustainable development. One of her core research interests concerns the study of small business organisations and entrepreneurship addressing issues related to ethnicity, livelihood, crisis and coping strategies. She is the Head of Center for Sustainable Development Studies and has held visiting positions in Australia, and France and PhD supervisors at different institutions – International Business and Asian Studies, Griffith University, Australia; Business School, Oxford Brookes, UK; and MNHN (Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle) Paris, France. She has experience as reviewers for Current Issues in Tourism and for Austrian Journal of Southeast Asian Studies and has been one of the editorial review board members for Annals of Tourism Research since August 2022.
